EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION

Our abbreviated name, CECE, stands for more than civil, environmental and construction engineering. It also stands for continuous evolution and consistent excellence, two goals we strive for every academic year. With our highly funded faculty, our cutting-edge facilities and our innovations in both the laboratory and the classroom, we offer a world-class education at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

UCF is ranked for undergraduate engineering and computer science education

The research journal Engineering Structures has awarded the 2023 Best Paper Award to Assistant Professor Georgios Apostolakis and his students. The winning article, "SVD-Enabled Data Augmentation for Machine Learning-Based Surrogate Modeling of Nonlinear Structure," was authored by Siddharth S. Parida, an assistant professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Co-authors on the paper include Apostolakis, Megan Butcher and Prashant Shekhar from ERAU and Supratik Bose from the University of Buffalo.
