Samiul Hasan is an associate professor in the UCF Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering and a member of the Future City Initiative. Prior to joining UCF, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Australia. Hasan’s research has received funding from the Florida Department of Transportation, the National Science Foundation, the Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council, the SAFER-SIM University Transportation Center, the Southeastern University Transportation Center and industry.
